Bangalore is addressed by many names- the silicon valley of India, the IT hub of the country, and may more.
However for me, it will always be the place I celebrated my 50th birthday. It was, a huge milestone, nevertheless, I was on a work trip to Bangalore.
Feeling bereft of my family on this day, I buried myself in work because I did not want to dwell on the fact that I was stuck in a different city while my husband and kids were back home.
Still, I got a lovely bouquet and cake delivered to my hotel room from my husband, so I cheered up a bit.
Who was I to know that my gloominess was to be dispelled so quickly? For, the hotel and my husband had put their heads together to give me the best surprise ever- a party at the hotels Wild Grass conference hall! All my friends and family had flown in and we got the entire floor booked for us!
All throughout, my husband was just praising the staff- how well they managed everything, and how it was exactly as he had imagined it and how they catered to everything he told them over the phone!
My 50th birthday was a blast- and I really have to say, it was a great success and Radiant has one of the best birthday party halls in Bangalore!
